"When I first met Neal and Renee, I had just gone to UCLA to see if they could do anything for my MS. I was in really bad shape. I was still working, but I could barely function. I had severe fatigue, painful spasms, used a wheelchair, couldn't sleep because I couldn't lie down without spasming, was too weak to even cough, etc. The doctors at UCLA told me I was secondary progressive, so stop BetaSeron, there was nothing more they could do, I would just get worse and good luck.
When Neal and Renee first worked on me, I couldn't stand to have anyone touch my legs because I would spasm into a fetal position. I couldn't lie down so they worked on me in my wheelchair. Each treatment relaxed my muscles a little and over time, I was able to lay on their table for treatments. You can't believe what a difference that ability to relax had on my quality of life. I got my strength back, the fatigue is gone, I was able to continue to work until I recently retired (not on disability). I do regret that I didn't meet them sooner because I still need to use the wheelchair. We're working on that, but I think if I had caught it sooner, I would never have gotten that bad.
I recommend Neal and Renee to anyone with MS and suggest that they should be consulted long before you're as desperate as I was."
